Announcing the Democratic Women's Council 2026 Scholarship !

For over 18 years, the Democratic Women’s Council of Horry County (DWCHC) has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships. Graduating Horry County public school high school seniors are invited to apply.​

 

The topic questions for 2026 (all three must be answered):

1. Describe a political issue facing the U.S. today that is of significant concern to you. Why? 

2. How have your personal political values influenced or informed your stance on this issue?

3. How do you see yourself advocating for this issue in the future?
